My name is Lance Trott. As Founder and Principal Consultant at PACER, I’ve had the good fortune working for nearly four decades (38+ years) in the healthcare industry in leadership roles at some of the finest hospitals, health systems, payers and consulting firms in the country.
I’ve directly reported to or had as mentors, recognized best and brightest individuals who’ve taught me how to lead, how to listen, how to be decisive, how to strategize on difficult assignments, and how to accomplish goals. It’s time well spent and I’ve since used that knowledge to pay it forward mentoring new healthcare careerists and helping clients to be their best.

Our Company
Founded by Lance Trott, PACER was established as a healthcare consulting company aimed at delivering proven results at a maximum value. We’re nimble yet powerful when it comes to fixing broken processes and improving cash in the door. Our services are in revenue cycle management, contracting and cost management/decision support areas, where we’re accomplished subject matter experts, and where we deliver exceptional ROI (> 12:1) to our clients.
What differentiates PACER from every other healthcare consulting company is value. We’re a small company with big experience (each contracted associate has over 20-years in the healthcare business in leadership positions) and we use that intelligence to focus on areas that are most prone to revenue leakage or pursued meticulously for cash recoveries. Our goal is to give providers the tools to gain the upper-hand with payers in an ever-changing over-regulated healthcare industry, and to make sure that a provider’s best interests are top priority; no cash is left on the table, no significant cost is unnecessarily spent and no major decision is not first strategically analyzed for best possible outcomes.
